Hi,
I have a customer with an IPO500 - R8.1(69) and embedded VM.
There's a huntgroup with announcements. I'v recorded the announcement with the shortcode, everything ok.
When I check the files on the embedded VM card (using advanced - embedded vm management), I can see the recorded file under system\dynamic\lvmail (file recorded or added on date X).
I replaced this file, also using the embedded vm management, with a previous recorded wav file. This wav file was converted to the correct format using the LVM Greeting Utility (and then renamed including the extension). Everything works fine, the WAV file is played as the announcement.
However, when the IPO does a reboot (power failure - or reboot selected in the manager) the announcement is gone. The file is still on the VM card, but it won't play anymore. When I dial the shortcode to listen or record the message, it says there is no message recorded. I can repeat the procedure and everything works again till the next reboot. The first file stays on the embedded card, the new message has a newer filename (a number increased by 1 or 2).
Don't think I had this problem at other sites. Does this sound familiar?
