uploading / attaching files through forms 6i

Please can anyone tell me how I can attach a file to message sent as an email through Oracle forms 6i on NT.

What package are you using to send the email? If its UTL_SMTP then files cannot be attached.

Where you get utl_smtp package

It should be loaded as part of a database build. Try DESC UTL_SMTP.WRITE_DATA in a sqlplus session to see if its already loaded. If not speak to your database administrator.
