We have just uploaded our website using Frontpage 2000 to our server, but now when we enter our homepage address it goes to a folder directory list as seen in Frontpage. If you then open the Pages folder it opens the Homepage. (The Pages folder contains the index.htm file). Im guessing the problem lies with moving the index.htm file so it is visible straight away, but how do i do this?

Corey,

I tried changing the name to .html but it made no difference when i uploaded it, any other suggestions...?

Nope still not working, the domain is and the index file is in the Pages directory if that helps...? When you click on the pages folder the homepage opens.

yes it is. I tried making the file available in that initial folder list but couldnt. Is that what i need to do?

Yes - you need to move the index page from pages/index.htm to just index.htm. When you type in it is looking for index.htm or index.html & right now yyou are wanting it to look for - I can give you the code to have it revert to instead if that would be easier? You should be able to drag the index.htm from the Pages to the main folder via FP.
