Upgrading to SMS SP4.....

Hello,

I am looking to rollout SMS 2.0 SP4 in my environment. I know that once I upgrade my primary site the upgrade will filter down and eventually filter to all the clients....

I would like to prevent anyone connected to my network via dialup from getting upgraded to SP4.....

In testing, Slownet did not prevent this from happening even after adjusting the threshhold.

Is there anyway to prevent the auto-upgrade of the dial-in clients??

Any help would be appreciated.....

Are the dial-up clients running login scripts? If so, you can modify the login script:

Are your dial up users on a different vlan? If your using network discovery you can disable that vlans IP range from sms.

Unfortunately my dial in clients do not run login scripts and they are not on a separate VLAN.

Is there anything else you can think of??
