Hello!
I need upgrade my ipoffice:

IP500 V2, PCS 11 - Firmware: 8.0(66)
Current Loader Version: P14 Loader v1.33

QUESTIONS:
Is it okay to jump from R8.0.66 to 11.0 version?
If not, what are the pre requisite to consider?
Is more safe upgrade jump 8.0.66 to 8.1, then 8.1 to 9.0, then 9.0 to 9.1, then 9.1 to 10.0, then 10.0 to a 10.1 and finaly 11.

Thanks

: IP500 V2 control units identified as PCS 14 and below must first install Release
8.1(65) (or higher 8.1) or any Release 9.0 before upgrading to Release 11.0. This will
expand the loader to accommodate the 11.0 software image

budbyrd is correct regarding the PCS requirement.
I would also add that while you can technically (based on documentation provided by Avaya) at that point jump right to 11, I've run into various issues doing this. It is quite a bit more time consuming, but possibly worthwhile, to take a stepped approach. You can definitely skip 10.1 though.
I've upgraded dozens of IPO's to 11, and run into a variety of oddities. For example, assuming you're currently on the ADI licensing model, consider that you can't apply the PLDS license until you're at 10. I've gotten an error when trying to apply the license, once at 10, and had to reset the security settings in order to reset all 3 passwords and then clear the error, load the license and proceed to 11. Take your time and you'll be fine. I haven't bricked any systems yet.

Something else. You will want to make sure to delete the old ADI licenses.

Hi,
One question:

In this case --> upgrade jump 8.0.66 to 8.1, then 8.1 to 9.0, then 9.0 to 9.1, then 9.1 to 10.0, then 10.0 to a 10.1 and finaly 11.

When updating I must wait for the IP phones to do so before the next jump?
I can disable the TFTP server and update the IP phones when I get to version 11?

Thanks

I would not upload system files. Personally I would do 9,10,and go to 11 if you are concerned about going to far at once. Without the system files it can't upgrade the phones. The main concern is the chassis and the config. The phones can make the major jump without a problem.
