Upgrading PPES 7.3 to 7.3MR1

Hello all,

Cognos has made MR1 releases of most 7.3 applications available for download.

Having only just ugraded PPES 7.1 to 7.3 (and still having some issues), I was wondering whether anyone had a quick and dirty method of upgrading 7.3 to 7.3MR1 - i.e. just copying the .exe and .dll of later creation over the existing ones - to save the downtime and effort in a full install (changes in themes, icons, .js, newsboxes)?

Or am I failing to take account of the need to update registry settings for Cognos products?

what prob's did you have going from 7.1 to 7.3 ? This is something we will be considering doing over here before too long.

I have some PP reports which work fine in PPclient, but won't display correctly in web - user class apexing and sorting of measures nested under a dimension. I think the problem may be local to the install, and not a universal problem, as I can't believe it would be unreported by now.
Subsets and export to excel justify the upgrade on functional grounds.
