What do I need to be able to add more handsets and phonelines to a MICS.

Do I need the Fiber Trunk Card, Global Analog Card?

Any help is appreciated.

It depends on what you already have on the system.

list out all of the cards that you have and all of the modules that you have such as a MICS 0X32 with 2 port fiber and two CI cards one trunk module with one LS/DS card; then list out the actual stations and lines that you have in use. it is also a good idea to let us know what software level you have.

with this info we can tell you what the hardware capabilities are on your system as well as what the expansion capabilities are.

If you are referring to adding more Ext's, and lines, you will need a fiber expansion card (2 port or 6)depending on what you need. Then you can add a trunk module or station module to your existing 0X32. Now a station module will give you 16 ext's and a trunk module can give you 12 additional lines (you will have to determin how many new lines you will be adding, each trunk card will support 4 lines, so for 12 additional lines you will need 1 Trunk module with 3 trunk cards).
This should put you in the right direction. Also keep in mind that i am assuming you have maxed out your 0X32 (8 co's, 32 ext's).

So if I want to add just one line and about 10 sets I would need a 6 port fibre card, one station module and one trunk module and one trunk card? Is that correct?

Also, what if I need caller ID support, do I need a Global Analog Trunk CLID card?

You're help is appreciated.

It still depends on what you already have. It is unwise to tell you what equipment you will need when we don't know what you already have, you may already have plenty of equipment to support what you want to do but just don't know it.

more than likely you have a spare CO port available but we need you to tell us what equipment you already have!

as far as a six port module this alos depends on whether or not you already have a fiber module in place and whether or not you have all of the fiber ports in use. it also depends on the software release of your equipment.

for caller ID you need to have CI cards, (you may have them but are not subscribing from the telco for caller ID)

Just look at the equipment and tell us what is there to start off with.
