Hi all

I'm trying to upgrade the MGU with the latest package, but there seems to be some error. I've copied the MGU rpm into the TS directory:

opt/jboss/server/default/deploy/jboss-web.deployer/ROOT.war/mgu/1.3.134

Then key in the command:

board_sw -gateway -netload -path mgu/1.3.134 -protocol http -host 172.16.5.50 -mgw 1a

It shows an error :

no server

Anyone have idea what is the problem?

Many thanks

you should see the file error.log and access.log in server software for more information, and make sure the server service is running

sure it is a bug in the path

You are using the path which is created for eri_om. This web server will normally run on port 8080. If this is the case, you need to add a port 8080 parameter to you command string i.e.

board_sw -gateway -netload -path mgu/1.3.134 -protocol http -host 172.16.5.50 -port 080 -mgw 1a

Spotted a typo, that should of course be-
board_sw -gateway -netload -path mgu/1.3.134 -protocol http -host 172.16.5.50 -port 8080 -mgw 1a

Hi all

I forgot about this problem awhile ago as i just used upgrade the MGU directly using a USB stick. I found out the problem for my above error.

For anyone facing this problem, i log in as root then into mdsh shell when typing the command for upgrade.

It returns "server not found"

However if i exit root , the command works fine without keying the parameter "-port 8080" as well. Just for sharing. =)

Thanks all
