Upgrading memory - Just plug and chug?

Sorry for being an Exchange noob. We recently upgraded our Exchange server's memory from 1 GB to 2 GB. According to a couple of discussions on this board there is nothing else you have to do, but I know that I read somewhere that there is an Exchange performance utility that should be run after upgrading the memory so that Exchange can "realize" the extra memory and adjust its configuration to take advantage of it. Any ideas?

YOu are correct. have a read of

which describes the steps you need to take. note that this is only if your Exchange is running on Windows Advanced Server.
