Upgrading KX-TDE 100 from version 5 to version 8 to work with KX-NT 511 1

Hi,

1 have installed 6 Panasonic ip phones KX-NT 511 on KX-TDE 100,i have configured their mac addresses with the Pabx and i have configured the Pabx ip address on the phones and assigned IP addresses to the phones but they wont register with the Pabx,
if i upgrade the Pabx to the latest version 8 will the IP phones register and work as expected. if so how do i do the upgrade.

Yes, for KX-NT500, need TDE100 with software ver8. After upgrade try to put Registration mode for IP Phone in PBX to Full Automatic first then see if NT Phone register or not.

Hi,
Thanks BRG HOUNG for the info i upgraded the KX-TDE 100 from version 5 to version 8 but i could not log to the KX-TDE 100.
i tried connecting with the UPCMCv7.7.1.0_R2 but i still wouldn't i kept getting the message that the software was not compatible and i needed to upgrade to a higher version if i download the UPCMCv7.8.1.1_R14 will i be able to log in and complete my upgrade.

Hi BRG,

I upgraded the KX-TDE from version 5 to version 8 i logged in with the UPCMCv7.8.1.1_R14 and completed the upgrade
and the phones logged in perfectly, they are working as required.Thanks
