Upgrading IPO 500V2 8.0.16 to 11.0.4.4

Hello Team.
i need to upgrade a system from 8.0.16 to 11.0.4.4.
The loader is : 1.32
what would be the recommended steps in order not to mess with the upgrade? the system is far away from me and i connect over VPN to the site.
When i create the new license it will be in XML format so i cannot enter it to the 8.0 system.
Do i upgrade it to 9.0 and then enter the license file? in order to upgrade to 11.0.4.4 then?

or what would be the best option?

Rename the license file PLDSkeys.xml and upload to the Primary folder of the SD card. When the system get to R11 it will read the file and be licensed.

Upgrade to 9.0 (which will expand the loader) and then upgrade to 11.

Make sure there is enough space on the SD card!!!

The SD card has 2823 MB i believe this is enough space for the upgrade.

If you have the old 4GB SD card I would change it to a new one.
