Upgrading IP500v1 Preferred Edition R8.0 to R8.1

Hi,

I have an IP500v1 running Preferred edition, R8.0 I am currently running One-x ver 8.0 on a separate server. When a call is received on a HG user is not getting hunt group name and this is essential. I am running One-X 8.1 at my Office and it works fine as for HG names so I thiought of upgrading client's but two issues as I am a bit confused:

Do I need an Essentil edition license too? (even though the pabx is on preferred)
Do I need an upgrade license to 8.1 from 8?
