Hi All,

My understanding is if I would like to upgrade to R6 from R5 I would need to purchase an additional run time license for the system. Is this correct? If so, exactly what license do I need and do I have to add the license prior to upgrading?

Thanks in advance.

You only need the R5 to R6 upgrade license.. The other licenses will covert. Two brands of licenses, one with up to 32 users and one with more than 32 users.

I would recommend contacting a BP for the upgrade.

Keep in mind that the user licenses are different in R5 then in R6!!!

A power user license in R5 gives you separate licenses.
A power user license in R6 enalbes options for the user.

So if you have R5 power user then you will not have the new softphone option in R6!

Thanks for the response. So far I have the following licenses; Should I be able to just upgrade to R6 <32 users?

Phone Manager Pro (Per seat)
Phone Manager Pro IP Audio Enabled (users)
Voicemail Pro

Appreciate the help.

An upgrade to R6 needs a runtime license too!
The rest keeps working.
