upgrading ICS 4.0 from LS/DS to T1

Hey folks,

I am going to upgrading a customer from LS/DS trunk cards to a T1 this week. I have usually done T1 or PRI's on 6.1 from the start.

So basically looking for any info that you guys may have for this upgrade. I have the DTI and 6 port combo card card. I am gonna be leaving in one LS/DS card for the RAD and 911 services.

My biggest concern is am I gonna have to do a system startup on the system or can I just power down, take out non-needed equipment and install new equipment, power up and start programming.

Any insight from you folks would be appriciated.

What about target lines. What is the starting number. I can't find my manual for 4.0 I know for 6.1 the first target line is 157 but what about 4.0

line 155 i think, but the sys should have pre-assigned the dia lines to ring at sets for you depending which template is applied onto the sys, eg ex221 dia 155, ex 222 dia 156.
