I have just completed a upgrade from NT4 to 2003AD. I did an in place upgrade on my NT PDC. I have added 2 more AD servers to the domain since. Now I want to get rid of the 3 old NT4 domain controllers. What is the best method to do this? Just delete them from the domain controllers list? We are running in 2003 Domain Functional level. Thanks!

Do you run more then one domain, or just one?

I just went ahead and remove the NT4 servers through adsiedit. Seems to be okay.

I am still having problems with machines still "seeing" the old NT domain controllers.

Type: Error
Computer: MyServer
Source: NETLOGON
EvtID: 3210
Descr: Failed to authenticate with \\MyOLDNT4DC, a Windows NT or Windows 2000 domain controller for domain Mydomain.

I removed these Nt4 DC from the active directory servers group. Any ideas why these machines are still looking for the old servers? Any help appreciated.
