Hello
Can I upgrade the software on a MICS cab from 3.0 to 7.1 without having to reprogram the whole unit or do I need the module to do the upgrage in steps?
Regards

You will need 4.1 and 7.1 tools.
You can double check by looking at the Install Guide and search Upgrade, it will tell you exactly which steps are needed.

If sets are cookie cutters then I would program from scratch to clear out any bugs.
Does it have PRI?

PRI wasn't available until R4.0, although it could have a T1. I agree with curlycord. Programming from scratch will ensure a clean installation. You also will not need to find the upgrade tools if you take the MICS from R3.0 to R7.1 using the STARTUP method.

Many thanks guys
I went with the 'STARTUP' method and it seems to be humming along.
Appreciate the suggestions
