Hi,

Sorry for the generalness of the post, but I was wondering if it was worth migrating 11.1 to 11.5.

The backups I have configured on 11.1 work just fine, and I know the old addage "if it aint broke" probably applies! I was wonderinf if there was any specifics of its functionality that made it desirable.

I have another reason to ask in that a new account im working on has asked me why not to use 11.5 as its the latest - but I have no basis for comparison.

Any help/comments would be appreciated.

Thanks

Hi,
There are a couple of fixes from 11.1 to 11.5 version. If you don't have any issues and if the upgrade isn't for free then save the money.

I hope you find this post helpful.

The only reason I went from 11.1 to 11.5 is because there are no 64-bit Linux agents for 11.1 and the 11.5 agent isn't backward-compatible with the 11.1 server.

I have not had a good upgrade experience, so if you don't have to, and it isn't free - don't. And if you do have to, try to set up a separate system and make sure everything works the way you expect it to, before switching your production system over to 11.5, or you may have the same pain that I'm going through.

Thanks for those posts - i think i'll be staying where I am ;-)
