Upgrading DECT 3730 Cordless Phone with Avaya DECT 3730/3735 Programmer 1

Hello all,

I am trying to update the Firmware on my 3730 phone and have the Avaya DP1 Desktop Programmer (700513194).

I am following the DECT Manual and have Avaya WinPDM Open and the Programmer plugged into my laptop however nothing is showing under "Devices"

Thoughts?

That was not the manual I was using, I will take a look at the one you attached when I can. The one I have been using is attached.

Just as a FYI, I was able to get Avaya WinPDM to finally recognize the phone and successfully update the software by downloading Avaya WinPDM from Avaya, Version 3.13.2.

The WinPDM Version of 3.12.0 that was included in the R11.0.4.1(11) did not recognize the Avaya 3730:

Yes, thats the version I also downloaded. I haven't yet used it as all the DECT phones we use are still on the latest software release.

Firebird Scrambler: The 3730 I received last week shipped with version: 2.1.4, I updated it to version 2.4.1 and all went smoothly.
