Hi, I'm hoping someone might know if it's possible to upgrade a 9620 R1.5 direct to R3.2 or if there has to be an intermediary Release or more.

I tried going straight to R3.2 and DHCP just counts up and loops. I was able to downgrade that phone to R3.105S and was fine, but I wasn't to get it to work on another phone or upgrade from 3.105S to 3.2 so I'm not sure if I'm missing something or if I have a DHCP issue I need to look into.

Thanks in advance!

Hi,

The read.me file for this version says that you can upgrade directly, unles you have 802.1x Supplicant enabled. Int this case there is a two step upgrade.
Is your 96xxupgrade.txt ok?

Bye ;)

Yeah I saw that, except I wasn't sure if it went as far back as 1.5. Maybe I should check some of the earlier releases readme files and see if there's an intermediary release.

The 96xxupgrade.txt is default. I haven't edited it. What's strange is that we upgraded a 9670 to R3.2 just fine, but both 9620s I tried experienced the same issue.

Thanks!
