Upgrading 96xx phone firmware

Hi

I have a bunch of 9620/9608 phones and understand it's possible to configure an auto update via feature access code (not sure if this is the best / only way to do this).

At the moment we are having to put the BIN file on the http server, reboot the phone and wait for the 96xx/46xx settings text file to read the current firmware version and see if an update exists, this feels painfully slow.

I have read various threads but none which give me any concrete steps to performing this, could anyone help?

If you are using CM 6.0/higher you can use the UTILITY Platform that resides on the same server the CM was installed on (CDOM). Then you can schedule an update in many ways.
