Hi there,

I am due to upgrade a 406 core to a new 500 v2 8.1.67 but keep the existing DS30 and Phone30 modules. I believe the modules need to be upgraded in stages -

8.1.67

If I plug the existing modules into the new 500 v2 core do they automatically upgrade to 8.1.67 and then I will need to downgrade and go through the step by step process? Is this done through the usual Advanced ... Upgrade procedure?

Are there any potential issues in upgrading these modules?

Should the digital handsets automatically update their firmware once the modules are upgraded and the Avaya is rebooted?

Thanks

Only the DS30 need a intermediate build otherwise DTMF will stop, all other modules can be upgraded to the latest version straight away.

A simple mind delivers great solutions
