Hello All
I upgraded a MICS to 7.1 (with a complete system startup) and I didnt take the page codes down for the different zones. I am trying to get the feature codes for individual zones to be programmed in at reception but it isn't going well.
I can have the receptionist page sets and then page speakers but cannot get the program to work on speakers and sets for the different zones, i.e. Sales, Parts, Body Shop, Administration, Service. (The client is a car dealership)
I have tried Feature 631 for 'All, zone 1' and Feature 632 for zone 2 etc; but that doesn't seem to be working.
Am i missing something
Please advise

F630 is all set zones and the paging amp, 631 is zone 1 sets and paging amp.
See my FAQ here.

You did not specify what part does not work, ie if you program 631 do the zone 1 sets work but not the amp, or both?

Is there a page zone module beside or on the amp?
In this case it would be a different setup as the zone modules require a separate data input such as 1 for zone 1 etc.
So if you page speakers it would be Feature 62P1 (P for Pause to let amp answer and ready to except a digit)

Also see if the amp is using a trunk port or page port.
Maybe a key was programmed as F*1 then 1, for that to work a set would have to primed to the trunk.

Lot's of variables to sort out:
-What exactly did they do to make a single page, one page button or 2? or one button and a digit from the keypad?
-Did they have a button for each zone on the set?
-What do they remember seeing on the display, "Page Zone X" or nothing
-Is there a zone module where you need to enter an extra digit?
-How is the amp hooked up to the KSU?

Post answers back if still not sorted out.

I will be back to the site on Monday or Tuesday of this week. How do you program a pause when programming a button for a zone ie. Sales would be F631P1 I think.
Will send you pictures of the equipment on site
