Is anyone else having problems with V12? We have encountered the following:

Date/time override the system format(GMT)so that in the application it uses American format - this, apparently, is a known bug. Let's hope they bring out a fix soon.

We ran a full backup of our databases at the week end using v11d and then upgraded the remote agent to v12 during the week and our TLog backup failed because the full backup was on v11. We have 28 sql servers to sort out - joy!

Since the upgrade our AIT2 autoloader is detected but we can't get the slots to show. We've tried to reinstall, update drivers, reboot, changed the scsi cable, but the slots are missing.

Can anyone help? Please?

Thanks for your info Steve. It's been more helpful than Symantec support with whom we have logged a call, but you were faster [smile]

Have actually tried several times to apply the work around for the date format but it doesn't work. Even changing the system settings to American English with the short date customised to dd/mm/yyyy, restarting backup services/rebooting the machine makes no difference - the app still shows mm/dd/yyyy. It not crucial, more an irritation, and we have bigger issues with this upgrade so I've signed up for critical updates.

Hello again

This has worked now - I was too impatient and expected the change to be there immediately after the restart of services, when in fact it takes a while for the change to occur.
