Upgrade to System Platform R6.x

On a MM Single Server can System Platform be upgraded from 1.x to 6.x? without comlpetely reinstalling? anything special to be done?

will the upgrade automamtically fo everything. im familiar with installing the patches but never did a full upgrade.

im guessing we could do the same for AES and MBT installs???
