currently i have eorchestra 3.5 running just with the msde
it's on a 2003 box

i want to up this to sql 2000
the instructions are a bit vague

anyone done this
i understand its
1. stop the service for eorchestra
2. run the bdbak or whatever it's called to backup db
3. install sql 2000
4. apply the service packs

then the book seems to want you to rerun the orch install - is this correct or is it just a case or restarting service and it waves the magic and works or do you rerun the install but it detects it's all there and setup and then syas something ?

I would not even bother with an upgrade, just reload ePO and sql.

1. Make sure the server has the same exact name and IP.
2. Export all your computers and policy files.
3.Export your DR list.

When you have the new system online you will have a little extra work, like reloading some software packages etc... but all the machines will check into the server with no issues.

sorry lost me a bit
