I have a 500 R7 with VMP, contact store and CCR. Looking at upgrading to R9.1 CCR will have to be upgraded to Contact Center. What do you all think about Contact Center? Would you recommend a 3rd party app instead? I hate CCR and don't want to make that mistake again. Helpful insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I agree with Guilherme. I have never sold contact center, but Xima Chronicall works great with the IPO and is an easy install/set-up.

IPOCC sucks. Xima Chronicall is much better and greater support.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

Thanks for the info. I'll look into it. Is there anything else I should watch out for when upgrading?

TBH only the VMPro is good.
Contact Store and CCR both are PITA and both are better replaced with Xima.
Uograding to 9.1 shouldn't be a problem, done a few of them without a problem but upgrade to 9.0 first because the bootloader needs to be upgraded first.

I was looking at upgrading to contact recorder. It's good to know that Xima is a good call recorder too. I'm checking into that now. I know about upgrading to R9 first, I have to change to a V2 control unit and a couple legacy cards. I appreciate all of the info. Just want to make sure I have everything in order.

Are you talking about using a couple of legacy card carries in the new R9.1? I believe legacy card carriers are no longer supported with R9.1.

Indeed, the carriers and the cards that fit aren't supported or recognised by 9.1 :)

Yes I am talking about legacy card carrier and you are right they not supported in 9.1. What about the ip500 DS30, is it still supported? I see the ip400 ds30 are not. I looked at the xima software and like what I saw. How does the price compare to IPOCC?

You'll be happy about pricing....
IP500 hardware is supported, the IP400 DS16/DS30V2 still works on 9.1 and if there is no IPOSS contract I suggest to use them.
