Hi All

Has anyone attempted to upgrade an IPO500 through MPLS?

Trying to avoid going to the remote site and just wondered if anyone has tried it with success?

Do it all the time.

never a good option to do that over a remote connection, better remote into a local PC download the admin software and install it and then upgrade it locally.
But maybe I am just so careful because I was working on it already since the early 1.x days and those days you didn't want to sneeze when upgrading either, LOL.
it does validate the upgrade actually and it should work but I stay away from it. So some people will give me flak for this

Done it once through ISDN but it was an emergency and could never advise it.

Depends how far a drive it is lol.

Never argue with an idiot. bystanders won't be able to tell the difference.

I've upgraded one of our clients IP Office's via MPLS for each update since 3.2 (I think). They have 12 branches and I have never had any problems, even off-line updates for a SoE.
