I just wanted to know what everyone was using as fas as software is concerned to write the bin file to the pcmcia card. i know about the flash tools pogram but really don't feel like paying $300 dollars for a program that is 6 years old.

Not to mention that the program only works on W95 or W2K, most of the cards will only program using an early card slot in P3 laptops and that support on the eFlash program is limited. That said, it's their software and Avaya's call that eFlash be their partner; I'm unaware of any alternates..... :-(

My guess is that any software program that can write to a PCMCIA flash card (the cards are also - almost extinct) - will work. But I will test out making a "K" flash upgrade card - and let you know - if the software I use (not Avaya recommended) will work. It is also rather "old" by today's quick-moving standards.
