Upgrade NuPoint

Hi,

What is the latest version of NuPoint available?

I am about to upgrade a system running NuPoint 14.2.0.37 (msl 9.2.25.0).

What should I consider before I start? Can I do an online upgrade? should I install the latest version and restore from backup?

By the way, what is MiCollab Advanced Messaging?

Mitel isn't supporting stand-alone Nupoint anymore. The latest version is the embedded Nupoint in MiCollab. If available, the stand-alone software would require replacement of the MSL and restoring the NPM configuration and the database. Check the software download section of MiAccess to see if there is a stand-alone version available for download.

I suppose you're entitled to your opinion, I'm just not going to suppose very hard.

The latest standalone release available on the Mitel software downloads site is 8.3 PR1, which is 18.3.0.105 and runs on MSL 10.5.17. As far as what homework to do before hand, make sure you have active SWA, read the release notes, and have your lucky rabbit's foot handy.

I managed to install a clean version of 18.3.0.105, license and restore database.
This customer only uses the NuPoint for Call Flows so I will not bother with upgrading to MiCollab.
