Upgrade Nortel 5520 firmware?

Hello,

I have a Nortel switch that I need to put into production, it's firmware is 5.1.1.017 but all our other switches are on 5.1.5.009. How can I upgrade this to that version? I have TFTP server.

I'm not sure of the procedure or commands required.

Give the switch an IP address, then you can upgrade the switch via TFTP.

Either by the "Software download screen" from the CI menu or from the CLI.

download address <a.b.c.d> diag <name>
download address <a.b.c.d> image <name>

Problem I have I can't seem to be able to download SW:v5.1.5.009 anywhere, the Avaya site says I'm not allowed.

You will need a valid service contract with Avaya to get the software.
