I have a BCM 3.7 not was instantly upgraded from 3.6 to 3.7 because of a HDD failure.
I need to upgrade it to 4.0.
The KRS site probably still lists it at 3.6, so I will probably need a 3.6 to 4.0 upgrade keycode (which I tried and it will take it).
My problem is that I am not sure that the system will accept it if it is now 3.7 and if it does will the upgrade process.

Has anyone been in this predicament?

I have the keycode already.

My problem is whether or not the system will accept a keycode that upgrades from 3.6 to 4.0.
Or if I will need the 3.7to 4.0 keycode.
Just got off the phone with krs help and they state that any keycode with version 3.x can be entered in the krs system.
But will any keycode apply on the the syetm is the question.
Again,I have a 3.7 that used to be a 3.6. The system ID remained the same to krs still thinks it's 3.6.

The 3.6 and 3.7 to 4.0 are different part numbers so it most likely will not work?

I think it will work. The easiest way is to use the first upgrade CD-ROM as the initial option will be to enter in the 4.0 keycode.

All the best

If it's working, then leave it alone!.

It all worked out. I used a 3.7 to 4.0 upgrade keycode and the upgrade worked.
Thanks.
