I have an issue when i do an upgrade. any upgrade 7 to 8 8 to 9 9 servive pack 1 to 5 etc...
The screen that shows how many files are left to be transferred stop counting. It still upload the files but i dont know when its finished.Am i alone with this ?

Try doing it from embedded file management and hit upload system files from the file menu.

Pop the card and recreate on a pc.
(You could have a bad card, so if this persist, do a reformat of it as well.)

Kind regards

Gunnar

Hi,

Format > Recreate should do it.

Also may be worth seeing what the SD card is doing on boot up via the serial (bad watermark on the card or something) i had a similar issue with a card not so long back

Best of luck

Must be you then [rofl2]

I've done the upgrade over a 1000 times, never seen the counter stop.

Kind regards

I had trouble with a few upgrades coming from R6 or R7 up to R9 and having secure communication enabled in security settings in Manager. Not the exact problem you're having, but may be worth a shot if you're running R9 software

It's got to be copy of manager you keep installing. Re-download it.

Upgrading in multiple steps should be done without the file upload till the last upgrade.
There is no need to upload file for a version that you won't stay on.
So upgrade from 7 to 8 is no file upload (uncheck it in the upgrade screen) and from 8 to 9 do the file upload.
