We are trying to upgrade in a test environment using the update utility.(we are on sql 2000)The preupgrade and the upgrade ran OK, but I now cannot open Progression Explorer or PWE. Am getting error "Invalid Username", after trying to login using Supervisor. Help! I have checked the macsql.cfg file, it looks good to me. What else?
thanks in advance,

Was the supervisor password reset to the factory default before the conversion ? Not sure if this requirement has changed lately, but use to have to do this. If not there is a technote on Exact web site on how to reset the supervisor password.

I would not stop at 76200, as it was a little buggy. I would go all the way to 76300c. 76300c came out in October of last year and there have been a few problems with it but it is much more stable than 76200 IMHO.

76400 is out now and I have been working with it internally, but I have yet to put a customer on it, but that will change next week! Wish me luck.

We set up the Test instance on a separate server. Have been in touch with Exact. We are still having problems with the Supervisor password. Ran script to reset password (along with a few queries)per instructions. Still getting error.Any thoughts, knowledge would be appreciated.

thanks

Does supervisor_sql exist in Enterprise Manager?
Does supervisor exist in syspass_sql in the Screens Database (it should exist in that table a godawful number of times)?
Is authentication on the database set to mixed mode?
