So the Phantom H.323 Extensions need a License?

I think I know where some of the extra Extensions came from.
We have a Sales team that is being monitored by Managers. They Monitor from either Office. so We needed to create group on Both Systems with the Local and remote Manages in them to be able to monitor.

A concern I have is on the IP End Point Licensing for the H.323 Extensions.

So out of the Total 206 HBG Extensions defined in the HBG System, there
are 84 Physical IP Phones, 21 Analog Phones, 2 SIP Phones, the rest are
Phantom, HotDesk and Remote Call Listen Extensions.

When I go to create a SIP extension and I don't have enough Licenses It
complains and said I'm in Violation. Is this going to happen for the
remaining 99

Phantom, Hotdesk and remote call listen extensions that are left over, do
they need Licensing?

Only physical extensions use a license.
You can program 300 but if only 10 are in use then you need ten licenses.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

Great, thank you! Will I see a License Warning or?

Thanks again for all your help!

If you do not reserve licenses for all extensions.
I never reserve them, I do not see a reason to do that.
