upgrade from 3.7 to 4.0

Hope someone can help i have a bcm 400 which i am upgrading from 3.7 to 4.0, pre check was fine i have up grade a few before no problem but this one is hanging on partitioned hard drive normally disk 1 takes a round 50 mins but on 52% and its been nearly 3 hours!
should i just install new 3.7 hard disk and restore data and start again?
Will keycode for upgrade still be ok to use?

yes that would be Nortel's lame suggestion... that seems to be the answer for all of thier failed upgrades.. thats what I had to do more than once

You need to replace the drive or re-image the original one and restore your backup and it will work perfectly..
