Upgrade essential 9.0 to preferred 9.0 2

Our company wants to set up Meet Me Conference but we have essential edition and I understand we need preferred edition for it to work. Do we just need to upgrade to preferred or are there other requirements needed. We have the following control units installed. Plus about 80 - 90 ip phones.

Order Preferred licence. Apply to system.

Setup server and install either just voicemail pro or if using a dedicated server install the whole app server to give you one-x capabilities as well.

Once installed setup the conference bridge in voicemail pro.

Can I use it with embedded voicemail?

Well, by adding the preferred licence you open up the ability for meet me conferencing. You can then set it up using embedded if you really want to, but it would make securing it much harder and is not the "correct" way to do it.

You should also upgrade your system to the latest version of 9.0
