So I can't seem to find any docs of how to complete a Co-Res to SA. The Avaya docs say You can upgrade a CPPM Co-res CS and SS- based system to a CS 1000E (VxWorksbased)SA with a stand-alone Signaling Server if the 1000 IP and 800 TDM users limit is exceeded. For details see Avaya Communication Server 1000E Planning and Engineering,NN43041-220 and Avaya Linux Platform Base and Applications Installation andCommissioning,, NN43001-315.

What did i miss cause I cant find it. So, I did it as a new install with SA keycodes using (2) cppm and HD. But CS still thinks it has a SS. Ive had suggestions for 8 techs but noone has actually done this. Im going to Avaya today if I can't figure it out. If you have done one of these let me know

We'll be converting our lab co-res to an SA in the near future. My assumption was all you would need to do would be to remove the HDD and set the S5 switch to 1 (boot from CF FMD). And load all the software, of course.

I know it sounds simple but, the CS wont let go of the SS ip. I even removed node and ss. Some where in the node.cfg file it still thinks it is co-res even with the SA software. New SS with New IP wont even register. Im starting over after lunch. Thanks
