Upgrade 46xxscr file won,t clear from phone 1

Hi All,
I have an issue with phones I am trying to upgrade.The file name 46xxupgrade.scr stays on the phones and nothing else happens.
Any ideas.

Hi,

do you check this things :

- the network between the tftp server and your phone
- is your 46xxsettings.txt up to date (if not take the one given with the new firmware, and modify this one for your own usage)

what is your 46xx phones ?

I had forget :

check also :

- if the 46xxupgade.scr is up to date too
- if the .bin specified in the 46xxupgrage.scr is present in the tftp folder.

You didn't state if you were using TFTP or HTTP.
Just a word of caution, if you are using HTTP on Microsoft IIS this will happen even if the file is in the directory. You have to create a mime type for .scr and give it a description of script file otherwise it thinks it is a screen saver file and will not make the file available for download.

The file is named as a screen saver I will change it to a .scr file
