You better wait for a new sub-release. V3.0 is a 'buggy one' I did an upgrade but after a few bug-broblems i decide to go back to v2.1(31) again.
Everything is stable now.
PM Pro: Using Agent-mode. When a HG is ticked, the user is enabled/disabled everytime you click OK in Preferences. In other words: When a HG is checked, OK works as a toggle..
Phone Manager can cause heavy CPU-load. Haven't isolated this issue yet. A collegue installed PM Pro on a Citrix solution, which caused massive load on the Citrix-servers. Avaya won't accept this bug though..
We have a system which suddenly (daily) rolls back to an older cfg.. At least that is how it seems. Suddenly users are enabled/disabled from HG's, their DND status is toggled, and so on.
*BUG Report*
I have seen on the new paperless 54xx sets, lifting the handset and pressing the "message" hard key results in a drop.
You have to press message & then lift the handset. Not a big deal but annoying to the end user.
Tht particular bug was listed in avayas release nots & I believe it is scheduled to be resolved in the maintanence release, as you say it is not terminal.
I have not seen the CFG rollback problem, are you sure no-one is sending an old cfg back to the system(or 1 that was opened yesterday but ediited today).
My general advise on whether to upgrade or not is always "If it aint broke DONT fix it!" only upgrade a working system if the new features are actualy required.
I've a couple of embedded VM issues ie. no beep after greeting and no greeting at all coming from the AA. One is still at Teir 4, the other is all the way to developement.
We installed the new 54XX series phones and couldn't go back on one system so we did a demo VM Pro install until these issues are resolved.
Pressing speaker while on a call then pressing hold drops calls intermittent.
By the way, One system came from the distributor with 3.0
