Greetings all! I am quite a noob to InDesign but I'm quickly learning it being very familar with Photoshop and Illustrator; however I'm having this issue. I received a file for work in InDesign from last year. They also supplied the Excel charts. The new charts are 1 column different from last year's document, is there a way to delete/insert a column and replace it with the new material or do I have to redo every chart, there are over 150 charts.

If the tables are linked, rather than embedded, you can try relinking or updating the link.

I have no idea if they are or not? Where can I find out if they are linked?

Probably they are not due to the fact I received this document from an outside source, and the tables from someone else at the same place.

Open the Links window and see if they're listed there. If you select a table it should highlight in the links window - if linked.

For future reference, it's always easiest to link spreadsheets and text doc if there's a chance they;ll be changed in the future - save a lot of grief.
