Hello,
I am trying to update a table based on an ID the user enters into the form. I have a table called tblReject which contains a RejectID, Date, and a boolean field called Rework. I want to have the user enter in the RejectID into the form and change either the Date or the boolean value or possibly both. Thanks for your help.

Is your form bound to the table?

The easiest way to acomplish this is to use the form Wizard to create a form based on your table. Maq [americanflag]

My Form is not bound to the table. I need to keep the text box that the user enters RejectID unbound so that they type the number in compared to selecting it from a list, otherwise that list would be 2000 itmes long. Let me know what you think.

You can have the form bound and still let the user type in their number. "Bound" isn't the same as a combo box. It just means where do you want to store the value entered. Maq [americanflag]
