Hi!, I really hope you can help me out here... The situation is that the Intranet site which I am maintaining on a daily basis requires content to be changed almost daily. I want to know if there is a quicker way to update content via the use of a external txt file, which when changed will dynamically update the content on the site...

All your suggestions and advise will me much appreciated.

Thanks
Budgy

If it's dynamic you should use a server-side language to populate the content

Quicker than what? You've not said how you update it at the moment... if it's editing HTML files, then how is that any slower than editing the same data in a text file?

updating content in a database through a web form is quicker that formatting HTML and FTP'ing. Also, it means anyone or several people can update the site, without knowing HTML or understanding how to FTP. ASP, PHP, and ColdFusion would all be good choices for something like that.

putting the "new" in "newb".....
