Hi to all

Can anyone give me the step-by-step for updating the firmware of an OpenStage 60T on the Hipath 3550.

Thanks

Sorry, I know how to do it on a 4000, but not on a 3000 series. The non-IP phones don't do data transmission in the usual way so there would either be a standalone utility for that, or the phone system would have a menu choice to do it.

On the 4000 there is a function called TDSM that can push the software out to the phones.

-load the firmware via Manager E Transfer->SW transfer to the MMC
-got to Manager E Transfer->Maintenance->Openstage Phones, read the phones and
transfer the new firmware to them

It seems to me that it takes a long time to send the file even though it is over the network. Is that so?

I'll keep updating overnight.

Thank you!

I'm sorry for the question, what is the "prepare.img" file that came packaged together with the firmware (.bin)?

I believe that updating the TDM handsets can be quite slow.
