Updating files???

Hi,
I need to update some HTML pages on my site, my question is - I read something about file synchronizing. Here is what I did - I needed to add some meta tags to my pages, I added my tags in dreamweaver, then defined site, when I uploaded my first page, it seemed to upload the rest - will Dreamweaver 4.0 do this automatically or do I need to upload each page????

I know when I upload my index file it asks me if I want to also upload the dependant files...I can click yes or no. Maybe the default is to upload all the dependant files which should be any that are linked together. You could always do a test...make a little text color change on one of your "dependant files and then upload the index.... see if the color change shows up online.
