Updates...?

i have this problem since yesterday, i had a little icon near claock which says "Updates are ready to install" i installed it but this sign is keep comming and not going away. Its SP2 and i am Admin. Any idea...?

Have you cold-booted since the install?

no, its not cold-booted, every thing is fine its first time this happened.

Then try turning the PC completely off, then power it back up.

It's also possible that they are additional updates that were only available after installing the initial updates.

Check to see what the update(s) are and then let us know the update number(s) so we can see if there is a know problem.
