Updates not showing up

Microsoft came out with 7 new windows updates and 2 new office updates early last week. My windows scanner and office scanner are set to run daily but the new updates aren't showing up in softare updates. I've manually re-run the windows and office scanner advertisements to no avail. I can't push these updates without them showing up as an option. Help!

Is your sync running? SUS has three components: The Sync (Synchronizes with the Microsoft Catalog) Scanner (Scans the computer to check if the patches that the Sync found are required) and the PatchInstall (like the name says )

The scanner, scanner sync, and the scanner expedited are running. I'm not sure about the PatchInstall. How do I check that?

So ... When you go and right click your Software Update and run the wizatd to create new sotfware update advertisements, you do not see the new patches? Did you installed the new June 2005 scanner? Microsoft released a new scanner/sync for the month of June due to the differences of these patches.

T have downloaded the new tool and the new updates just don't show up.

Hmm... Are you getting any error messages in your Site Status Messages? Any Management Point (MP) or other errors?

No errors. The windows and office scanner numbers keep going up (successes) but I can't push the new updates until they show up in software updates.

I did not mean errors in the Advertisment section, but Site Server Section under the System Status. Also, the server keeps text logs. For more information about the text logs, go to:
