Help! Access 97.... 120 users, 2 seperate call centers. One has NT 4.0 with Novel and the other Win 98.

Currently when I have updates, I send out a new version(email) with the same file name(linked to the DB) to my end users and (in the perfect world) all they have to do is click on the attachment and save it to the same location and replace the old version.... Well I've learned the hard way that many don't do this or they save it to the wrong location..... How can I sent them (something like a dos command) that will delete the old and save the new in the same location so their shortcuts work.

Many thanks for the help with this issue.

Dave

Without rewriting the article: November 2000 "Access-VB-SQL Advisor" Author Ken Wilkinson describes in depth a sweet method of monitoring versions and prompting database users to update at the click of a button. His email is listed in the article: kenw@db4dp.com . I think this might be just what you need! Gord
