Hi -
I am working on a database with 1000+ columns. On regular basis, the DBA and developers add new columns to the tables. I was wondering is there a way to update columns in Framework Manager without actually re-importing the entire database again. And also is there any way I can update the affected the columns in one go?

Thanks

You can update query subjects and this will bring in new columns if the query subject is written that way (maybe using select *). Right-click the individual query subject and select Update Query Subject.

Caution - If your query subjects selects with "AS" conditions, you could have a problem in doing a update in the manner suggested above. The update really only works against a SELECT *. Also if you created any query subjects off your root import view that are NOT shortcuts they may require individual manual updates.
