Update old DB with newer Server-side DB 1

Hello All,

Im trying to write some code in VBA to check the current version on the users local pc against the server-side version. If the server-side version is newer then the local version, close the DB, update local version, and restart the lcoal DB. Does anyone know how this can be done? Im guessing running a batch file for a shortcut that does the checking?

Any ideas or code?
