Update Group Policy on Windows 2000 Pro systems?

I wonder how to do so on local machine.

I know I can run gpupdate on xp pro.

Use the following commands:

SECEDIT /REFRESHPOLICY MACHINE_POLICY /ENFORCE

For the Computer settings

or

SECEDIT /REFRESHPOLICY USER_POLICY /ENFORCE

for User Policy

I have tried both of these and still the policy is not being replicated from domain.

I run windows 2003 server.

Try a reboot. If the settings are still not applying, we will need to know what settings you are trying to apply to tell you whether they will come over and work.

check the application log on the clients for userenv and/or scecli errors.
